Waders for a big guy

Thursday, April 29th, 2010
I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for waders for a large guy. I’m 6′1" and weight 330#…I usually wear 3xl. Any other big fellows out there that could recommend a pair to me or an outfitter that has larger sizes.

Thank you

FS-3″ RHW St. George

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

2 screw 3″ Hardy St. George reel for sale. Reel retains most all of it’s painted finish with a few minor rim scrapes and one larger scrape near the perfect agate line guide. See photos. Ribbed brass foot, comes with original box but no bag or pouch. I’m guessing late 50’s vintage but I could be wrong about that. $525 plus $20 for insured shipping. Pay Pal accepted, postal money order preferred. tfbinn@gmail.com

WELDED LOOPS

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

was at a spey casting conclave last summer down at fultons lodge—there was a demo done there–ie: (how to make a welded leader loop)–i had the instructions written down somewhere and lost, did a couple right after with success, but since it’s not something done with any regularity, i can’t remember how it was done, i remembered enough to burn up about 6 ft. of flyline tips and two fingers, im definitely doing something wrong–jim laing, and chuck, yall were there, maybe one of you have more recall than i do, would’nt take much, –thanks wr
