Maybe a quick intro first. I’m enjoying the forum and am planning a trip to the SJ end of Feb. I live in Vernal UT, and fish the Green below Flaming Gorge on a regular basis, especially during the winter and early spring.

I’ve been told that rubber legs are not allowed on the SJ. Not really a problem, but I do have a number of midge emergers that I tie with a Spanflex shuck. I looked here http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/publ…/09FishRIB.pdf

and couldn’t find anything prohibiting rubber legs, but I just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

It seems that there have been more reports here this fall/winter of things being stolen than I can remember in the past. Thieves are coming out of their holes in the ground to wreak havoc among us…

I have had stolen from me;

1. Nice outboard motor from my boat while camping at Lake Ouachita.

2. A very nice/clean 1972 International Scout and boat trailer from near my home. I camoflauged – hand painted -:frown: it in a custom leaf pattern that I was always complimented on. No insurance for theft of course. I had about $3K cash in it. I really miss that thing!

3. My neighbor had a Yamaha Big Bear stolen from his barn and they pushed it down my drive to load it up this was 1/4 mile from my house so didn’t hear them.

He bought the atv used but it was nearly new and was not insured. $4K I think.
