Hauling my fishing gear
I am just getting tired of hauling my fishing gear making multiple trips to carry gear to some of my favorite fishing spots? I also feel I might be missing some great trout fishing areas due to having to lug gear and fishing equipment to prime hard to find/great spots. Would an all in one cart be a good idea to carry your gear?… and looking for suggestions. Finally, I am not as young as I use to be and worried about slipping/falling when hauling gear in remote locations to fish.
Ideas?

I am with you on this and usually it’s now only short trips loading and unloading the truck at the lake or when I get back home. Yes some type of cart sounds like a good idea. I remember one time I did lift wrong, and my back went out for a week. It was at the start of a week long fishing trip and it was one of the worst times ever. Some of my best fishing holes were far away from a road, or walking trails and I only carry bare essentials, and take nothing else, remembering that I had to carry out the fish I wanted to keep too.
In the summer I am now more worried about snakes and other hazards, because there is no cell phones reception. I once saw a fisherman slip in a river and did not know how to swim! It never made much sense to me to find a fisherman who can’t swim!
