You favorite moment fishing?
You favorite moment fishing or if you had to pick one thing you like the most about fishing would be? Mine is that moment of fish on and getting the fish landed. It could be a few seconds, or a few minutes, and on rare occasions it’s longer, but no matter how long it lasts, it’s such a fleeting thing. I can think about it, try to recall it, but the memory is imperfect. When I’m there I try to savor it, freeze it in my mind. Nothing like it — just you and a fish.
List yours. I asked this question to some of my buddies and the answers varied from when they see the fish (healthy) swim away to when the fresh fish slaps the grill..

I’ll have to agree with you Jerry. In life, there are a few things better than when you feel that first tug and it’s FISH ON!. The second best part would have to be when your fishing with lure and you feel the fish bite the lure and let go. you’re just waiting for that second or third hit. my favorite is Texas rigged lizards when you feel the bass pick it up just for a second and u know that any second that bass could come back to nail it…….. i need to go bass fishin right now

It’s the fishing… enjoyment of the sport… narrow it down to the fight or the hookup or the anticipation if you like, but there’s no getting around it… there’s something more to fishing than catching fish…oh yes, I remember now. BEER
